Congrats to the Goal Diggers, the CVHL's Tier 3 champions after posting a 3-1 win over the Flatliners in the final at the Sports Centre last night. Bryan Huntley notched the eventual winner halfway through the second period and Tanner Peakman drove play all night, notching primary assists on the team's final two goals.

It's a Flatliners vs. Goal Diggers match-up in the first place final, as the Tier 3 playoffs wrap up Sunday night at the Sports Centre. While other tiers saw playoff chaos, these top two seeds survived some close semifinal games to face each other in the final. With two of their three regular season meetings ending in ties (3-3 and 1-1), it should be a good one.

Congrats to the Westview Wolves, the CVHL's Tier 1 champions after an exciting 3-2 shootout win over the Dump Bears in the final at the Sports Centre last night. A snipe by league-leading scorer Justin Mirabelli knotted the game up at 2-2 with 5:04 left in the third and then Vaughn Clairmont notched the only goal in the shootout with a nice forehand deke.

Congrats to the Ice Panthers, the CVHL's Tier 2 champions after a 6-4 win over the Golden Eagles in the final last night. The Panthers had to dig their way back from an early 3-0 deficit to take the lead on a Nathan Doleman goal halfway through the third period. Justin Griffiths iced the the victory with a full-ice empty netter with 35 seconds left.
