Westview WolvesThe Comox Valley Hockey League is a CVRD league that launched in the Fall of 2021 with 12 teams in one league. It has since grown to 22 teams across three tiers of play. This non-contact adult league is designed for intermediate and recreational players and puts a significant emphasis on safe and fun play. Games will have two referees, plus strict rules and discipline procedures aimed at addressing any issues and even removing problem players or teams. It also includes prizing for the most fun and sportsmanlike teams, to keep the focus on staying active and having fun through sports for life. This league is a partnership between the CVRD, CVSSC and 19 Wing Comox to help make hockey more accessible and organized for local adults. We hope to see you on the ice!
The CVHL is open to players and teams from Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland and surrounding areas.
Even if you missed the deadline, there’s a chance we can get you on a team as a spare or sub. You can sign up for the subs list using the signup form .

Not everyone gets the opportunity to play sports when they’re kids, which is why the CVHL wants to help raise funds for the Comox Valley chapter of KidSport. The community-based charity is run through Sport B.C. and eliminates the financial barriers to sport participation for kids ages 6-to-18.
No kid should be left on the sidelines and we think KidSport does great work. You can read more about them or contact us if you’d like to donate or get involved.
